Contest System
Turn Player Creativity Into Community Engagement
INTRACT's Contest System allows GTA RP servers to run limited-time customization events directly through their Tebex store and the INTRACT editor.
Contest Mode is designed to help servers:
- Increase player engagement
- Encourage repeat participation
- Onboard players into customization workflows
- Generate social sharing
- Test demand for player-created cosmetics
- Introduce players to premium customization systems
…without requiring players to purchase customizations upfront.
How Contests Work
When a contest is active:
- Players access the INTRACT customization editor
- Players create custom clothing designs
- AI-generated assets can be used during the event
- Players finalize and submit their contest entry
- Contest entries are automatically shared through the INTRACT Contest workflow
Contest entries follow the same AI moderation systems used throughout the INTRACT platform. Unlike live customization purchases, contests do not use the normal approval workflow — once a player submits their entry, the customization is considered finalized for the contest.
Contest Rules
Current contest limitations:
- 1 active contest at a time
- Contest duration up to 7 days
- 2 assets at a time (male/female, female/female, male/male)
- Up to 3 complimentary AI credits per player entry
This helps maintain stable moderation, AI generation, and infrastructure performance across the platform while keeping contest workflows lightweight and scalable for server communities.
Contest Packs
Contests use a completely separate Contest Pack type inside INTRACT. Contest Packs are isolated from the standard live Pack deployment system and are designed specifically for community events and engagement workflows.
Contest Pack Limitations
Contest Packs:
- Support all normal clothing assets
- Do not use Locked Packs
- Do not use Unlocked Packs
- Do not connect to INTRACT's automated Pack deployment system
This means:
- Contest assets are not automatically deployed into live servers
- YMT/YDD automated deployment is disabled
- Server owners can still manually download winning YTD files if they wish to manually insert them into their server
Contest Workflow Statuses
Every contest entry moves through a simplified status system.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The player has redeemed their free contest customization through the server's Tebex store but has not started customizing yet. |
| In-Progress | The player has started working on their customization inside the INTRACT editor. |
| Submitted | The player has finalized and submitted their customization. Submissions do not go through the normal approval workflow — once submitted, the entry becomes final and is automatically considered submitted to the contest. |
| Expired | Once the contest duration ends, all Pending and In-Progress entries become Expired and editing is permanently disabled. |
Expired contest entries can no longer be modified.
Contest Visibility & Sharing
Contest entries are designed to encourage community visibility and social engagement. Entries are:
- Automatically posted to Discord through the INTRACT Contest Bot
- Shareable publicly through INTRACT's media export tools
Players can export GIFs, screenshots, and showcase media directly from the platform for sharing across Discord and social channels.
Winning Entries
INTRACT does not currently manage voting systems, rankings, or automatic winner selection. How winners are selected is entirely up to the:
- Server owner
- Staff team
- Community event organizers
This gives communities flexibility in how contests are run internally.
Contest AI Credits
Server owners can configure complimentary AI credits for contest participants.
- Up to 3 complimentary AI credits per player entry
- Contest AI credits reset after each new entry
Contest AI Billing
During contests, server owners are charged $0.30 USD per AI generation.
At the end of the contest:
- INTRACT calculates total AI generation usage
- The server owner receives a billing notification
- The upcoming charge amount is provided before processing
- Payment is processed two (2) days later using the payment method on file
Contest Purchases & Future Customization
Contest entries remain permanently viewable inside the Purchases section of INTRACT. While contest submissions do not automatically convert into live products, players can later:
- Purchase the linked live asset through the server's Tebex store
- Import previous customization work
- Continue editing from an earlier contest creation
This allows contests to act as a lightweight onboarding funnel into future paid customization workflows.
Designed For Community Growth
The Contest System was built to help servers drive engagement, increase retention, encourage creativity, generate social sharing, test player demand, and introduce players to customization systems — while keeping operational overhead lightweight for server staff and community teams.
